February 11, 200917 yr I have a 97 legacy 4/s , it has the place in the bumper for the factory fogs, I want to put aftermarket in the factory holes, what size do I need, and does anyone have any suggestions, Thanks Roger
February 12, 200917 yr RogerB, Measure the fog light openings and install anything that will fit. Just be sure to wire them through a relay and make sure to aim them so that on coming cars won't be blinded by them. These things are usually installed on the bumper cover before the bumper cover is installed on the car. You most likely will find it much easier to do the same. It may save you a lot of grief. February 13, 200917 yr If it's a 97 I think you have square cutouts in the bumper cover? This style was on the 95-97 MY after that they were the oblong ones. Round lights will not fit but ebay sometimes has the sqaure fog light like these shown and there are DM projector ones fit also. I lucked out and found a NIB set on ebay for our M97 wagon that came complete with wires, switch and relays for $50. It came with the stock brackets too. That made the install simple, took me about 1 hour to install. Adjusting was a pain because I set them them higher than they should be and had to adjust the aim a couple of times (too low and you reflect off wet pavement).
February 15, 200917 yr VisionX makes square fog/driving lights that should fit. You'll need to measure the holes, but there are options available in either HID or LED. http://www.visionxoffroad.com
