That didn't work for me.

 

Your particular code may be hard set fault, meaning the ECM sees a fault without the engine running, like a sensor that is unplugged. Check around your engine and you will probably find it. If not you may have a broken wire or a bad ground.

Interesting. I had a misfire hence the CEL. Dealer replaced ignition coil. Told me if I got another CEL I needed new plugs. Got another CEL shortly after and I replaced the plugs myself. Been driving around with the CEL for 2 weeks now.

mmmm didn't know it was for a misfire. Got me on that one. Maybe your car just takes longer to reset. Take the cable off for a few hours, then reconnect it. That will reset it. It only takes 10 minutes on my 98 OBW. :) Edit.... Maybe need new wires also, just a thought.
