Cool site dude. Looks like you put a lot of effort into it.

 

I might seem like a butthead for saying this, but there is something really bad about the way you have your site designed.

 

Google wont likely like your site very much. That is to say it has very little to go off of to determine what your site is about, and therefore won't display your site in the search page when someone searches for a particular term. I have a feeling most of your business will be word of mouth but if you want to tap into a bigger market using searching engines, I suggest changing anything on that site with words to actual text instead of an image of text. It is particularly important that the links that link from page to page are either plain hyperlink text or the images at least have the appropriate ID/Alt tags.

How well does your vinyl hold up, to like southern Cali heat? I did the signage on my marque two years ago, and part of it is almost completely faded.

It depends on the color, florescents don't do well in the sun.

 

We carry 7-10 year outdoor vinyl. It's good stuff.

Constructive criticism from someone that has done a site or two. Takes too long to load, even in the days of fast DSL and cable. The background image is over 600K in size.

 

The text is difficult to read and I found myself not trying to figure out what it was about real quick.

 

A quick look at the source code shows no tags or any text that search engines pick up and index. This will limit your visit potential considerably.

but +1 on their recommendations - it did load slow for me too. like it was panning.

 

their notes for searches are crucial, but only if you think folks may be directed to you by search engines.

Thanks for the advise. I'm currently working on that stuff in hopes to make it easier to find with search engines. This was my first site I've put together so it's got a bit of a learning curve:rolleyes:
