February 26, 200917 yr I'm having a strange problem with the REAR windshield washer on my 2000 Forester. One side shoots out the fluid and the other side seems clogged. Does anyone have a repair or solution to this problem ? Can the nozzle be replaced ? I know it's minor but it annoys me. ~Howard
February 26, 200917 yr If you can blow compressed air backwards through the nozzle. You will need to disconnect the hose first.
February 26, 200917 yr +1^..compressed air works well for me...or if you have like a needle or sometimes a t-pin will work you can get it in there and kind of work it around....
March 4, 200917 yr Author Thanks for the answers. I'm going to try and clean out the nozzle this weekend once it gets warmer. Question: Can the nozzle be replaced if necessary ? ~Howard
March 4, 200917 yr Author You should be able to find one at a subaru dealer, or used. easy to replace. Everything is relative. How "easy" is easy ? ~Howard
March 9, 200917 yr Author Now here's the odd part. The weather got warmer and now EVERYTHING woks fine. Maybe the washer fluid I used froze up ? I don't understand that except maybe the fluid separated or was somehow "defective". The sweet mysteries of Subaru ! ~Howard
