bsaride Posted February 28, 2009 Share Posted February 28, 2009 I hit a deep pothole a couple months ago and really tweeked the front end. It is hard to get it to shift into 4th and when I do it won't stay there, not nearly as bad in third, can hold it in place. Today was the first chance I had to look at it. Shift rods, bushings look ok. I almost think it could be the rear mount. The trans could be hanging low and not allowing the shifter enough throw. I cralled under and it looks like there is a gap between the mount and the wings bolted to the trans. Sound like I'm on the right track? First Legacy wagon '96.
