April 12, 200916 yr Here is the link to pictures. The one with the custom wheels was taken yesterday morning before my work began. I then washed, claybarred, waxed, applied side decals from McBrat, then put on the set of Stock wheels. I have to give the center caps a coat of paint before my car is final. The 2nd and 3rd pictures are yesterday afternoon. http://s405.photobucket.com/albums/pp132/bheinen74/svx%20clay%20bar%20before%20and%20after/ my camera is crappy, and does not show the brilliance in the quality of shine.
April 12, 200916 yr Claybar looks great but why did you take the aftermarket wheels off, they looked good.
April 12, 200916 yr Author Claybar looks great but why did you take the aftermarket wheels off, they looked good. because they had michelin alpin snow and ice tires. not good for summer driving. I prefer the stock look. Center caps just got painted, waiting on them to dry up and will install those and be done.
April 12, 200916 yr Looks really nice. I like that color. Is it a factory color? I haven't seen one that color before. I see two of these everyday on my way to work and back. Cool cars and I would also like to get the chance to take a ride in one!!
April 13, 200916 yr Author The winter wheels are MB? can be found on tire rack website. If someone wants the custom rims, they would also work on 05+ Sti and the Tribeca and of course any SVX. I don't really have room to store them. The color is Dark Teal, a color only on the 92's. It is one of the first Pearl paints used i think, and its really beautiful after the claybar/wax Its the original paint. My camera does not show the beauty of it now. Center caps back on today after repainting them. Car is ready for the rain or shine drive in in DM for Thursday at Skybox lounge.
