'87 Brat. Turn the key on and crank and the ignition fuse blows. Bare wire? Didnt see any, but was raining, didnt look too hard. Choke on the weber wouldnt do it, right? Thought of it so I unplugged it and it started. Coincidence I think.

You have a short in the ignition circuit. Sorry but that's really all anyone here is going to be able to tell you beyond how to operate a DMM and do basic electrical troubleshooting.
