Buying parts online?

Featured Replies

I need a high pressure hose assembly for my 2003 OBW air conditioner. I see a couple online from $53 - $122. What is the OEM part number?

Assuming that you are talking abou the a/c hoses for a 4 cyl engine, I have both the suction and discharge hoses. I recently bought them thinking that mine were defective, but it turns out all I needed was an o-ring. If you're interested let me know. They are OE from 1stSubaruParts.com

It is a 2003 4cyl Outback wagon. Yes I am interested in the discharge hose.

are you sure the hose is bad? that is really odd...actually it's so odd that i don't believe the hose is bad unless something happened to it. more likely the oring at either fitting end is leaking.

those are frequently the cause of a/c leaks. most common problem i see.

If it is the part # you seek, try opposedforces.com or subarupartsforyou.com they both list genuine part #'s.

Yes when I turned the can upside down to empty it, it was bubbling out between the compression fitting and hose. Earlier when I tried using the fluorescent stuff you could see it splattered in the area.
