Well I am finally getting around to mounting these d@mn 7" HIDs I bought a long time ago for my loyale.

 

I plan on mounting them on the top of the bumper like in these pics.

 

How adversely will these effect my engine temp?

You should be fine.

The lamps don't appear to block too much airflow.

Not to mention you have a lot of flow coming up from under the car.

Just enjoy your new lights and keep an eye on that temp gauge!

meh, if you've still got a working fan, you could put a dozen lights up there and not really have an issue (with airflow anyway.....your alternator would probably implode though....)

I recently installed a new (or rather re-manf) alternator and with these lights only pulling 35watts each I dont think it should be too much of a electrical issue.

 

Well I guess if no one on here can find a problem, I'll bolt these up tomorrow!

They barely block the grill, you'll be fine. They may screw up the beam pattern from your headlights though.
