June 12, 200916 yr so this seems simple but the rack side of the boot does not want to stretch and stay on the rack. i've done this before but for some reason i'm having a harder time this time. are there any tricks other than "install onto rack"?
June 13, 200916 yr Gary I'm having to replace the boots on the wifes car, and several of the ones that I've looked at have a groove for a zip tie. Ed
June 13, 200916 yr Some of the inner boots have a rubber sleeve that is inside the boot. If that came out or you have two, one in the boot and one on the rack, it would be a pain. Those inside boots can be tough.
