small lift for legacy?

Featured Replies

I have a FWD 93 legacy L sedan.I am thinking about making it my rally beater.I need to get the car off the ground though. If I swapped legacy wagon rear spings on the FWD rear struts would that lift the rear end a bit because of the higher spring rate?Anyone have any ideas for the front?Just going for about an inch of lift or so. would 4wd legacy or impreza front struts do anything?

Two inches of lift seems a bit high, that and my car is FWD.I wasnt aware they made FWD outbacks.

just looking to get the bottom of the car just a bit higher off the ground..

Do you plan on makeing it AWD? OR just just keeping it FWD? As for lifting the front the 97 to 99 outback struts are a great cheapest easy way to lift the front, as for the rear you would have to make a strut top spacer as the outback rear struts are about the same length as the 2WD rear struts.

Is there anything I can do to get more spring rate short of coil overs? 123 inch pounds isnt really stable on gravel.

I suspect H6 wagon front springs from 2000 to 2004 and 90 to 99 4wd wagon rear springs.
