AC compressor removal 91 EJ22

Featured Replies

I've removed every bolt and bracket i can see.

What is holding this demon in it's place so firmly?

4 bolts hold the compressor. The bottom two bolts go through a bracket which has another 14mm bolt about 2" back towards the valve cover.

+1 ^..also (rarely) they can get a little like corroded or whatnot from age and time...especially if this thing hasnt been moved in 19 years...you could tap on her a little with a mallet or hammer and block of wood.....

Tapping didn't quite work.

I literally had to beat it the whole way out with a deadblow and wood block.

Thanks for the help.:)
