September 8, 200916 yr well this 2000 Outback was Hit in the Front and i think it might be repairable. Junk: Engine Radiator and few things upfront. Fenders are Flawless Hes Looking for an offer on the entire car. Think its repairable ? my father has the skills to weld another front and core support. i showed him the pictures and he said probably. Sould i make an Offer ? my max offer would be $300.
September 8, 200916 yr Just about anything is repairable, depends on $ and skills. If your dad is doing the work then he needs to look and decide. Your goal should be to price the parts needed to help decide if it's worth it. This being the newer body style means parts are more expensive. I just got done rebuilding our 02 OBW earlier this year.

Right. i could never afford one complete and un-harmed. thought this would be good way for me to get newer vehicle like i always wanted. Pluses about it. Wagon Newer fix it right makes me look like i got money when i don't. 2 Options: 1. fix it then sell it for more than what i got in it. 2. Fix and keep for my self I'm wanting to go for option 2. but yeah. GG your right.(as always lol) i better check before i get ahead of my self.
September 8, 200916 yr It is a little hard to tell by the picture, but it looks like the engine bay is empty. Is there anything left under the hood?
September 8, 200916 yr yeah it would be worth more with a toasted engine that has at least intake and sensors. this would be ideal for me and my ej22t, but not with it missing the bits....

It would be good to get the motor with the body, even if the motor is trashed, there are still a lot of bits and pieces off the bad motor worth having. Check to see what suspension damage there might be. How long has this car been sitting. If a long time, the brake system will need some work.
