  1. If you can't get it with a slim jim, there's a kit with a hand-pump air bag, a wedge, a long rod with a hook, and some other accessories you can use. This is the kit I have and it's worked on everything I have tried it on. Use the wedge to pry the top of the window with care, then install/inflate the airbag to make enough room to manuever the hook to grip and pull the lock tab by the interior door handle, then remove the rod, airbag, and wedge, and open the door like normal. -Bill
  2. I do not have any left, sorry. -Bill
  3. If the spring or top hat is touching the inner strut tower, you might just need to tap the area it touches with a hammer until it clears. -Bill
  4. Hey everyone, while I am no longer making lifts on a regular basis, I do still have blueprints of all the lifts I offered available. They are $25 each, and can be emailed or snail mailed upon request. I have the following blueprints available: Gen 1 (1977-1981 Brat, 1977-1979 Wagon, Sedan, Coupe) - 4" EA81 (1982-1987 Brat, 1980-1989 Hatchback, 1980-1984 Wagon, Sedan, Coupe) - 3", 4", 6" EA82 (1985-1994 Wagon, Sedan, RX, 3-door Coupe, Loyale, Loyale RS; 1985-1992 XT, XT-6) - 2", 4", 6" PM me or give me a call. Paypal and money orders are preferred. Thanks -Bill
  5. All lift kits are sold, none left. Thanks to everyone who bought one, I hope you enjoy them and they serve you well, and sorry to anyone who missed out. If I start making more I will let yall know. Thanks -Bill
  6. Send me a Private Message, if you have a paypal account that is my preffered payment method, but I do accept money orders as well. -Bill
  7. I believe that when the suspension is in high mode it rides the same height as one that has springs instead of air struts, and when the suspension is in low mode it is actually 2" lower than a normal one, but I'm not 100% on that. There is one person here I can think of who put a 2" lift on an XT6 with air suspension and it all seemed to work perfect for him, if I remember right the username was grossgary, you might PM them and ask if they had any issues, I believe he used an SJR kit, which lowered the crossmember 1". -Bill
  8. My 2" lift will work with it while it is still working, all that is required is you will have to drill a hole in each front strut top-plate to run the air hose through. When the air struts finally give out you'll want to replace them or your ride quality will suck. -Bill
  9. I just finished up 5 of the 2" lifts from leftover parts I had, PM me if you want one, get them before they are gone! -Bill
  10. I just finished 5 of these 2" kits from parts i had left over, they are ready to ship and still only $120 shipped! PM me if you want one, get them before they are gone! -Bill
  11. You don't have to do anything with that mount, the lift kit drops the whole rear crossmember and the diff together. -Bill
  12. I've always just used Craftsman combination wrenches, nothing special. Just takes patience, because you will only be able to turn a 6th of a turn at a time and will have to flip the wrench to get the jaws in the right place a lot. I replace those nuts with the 14mm versions they used on the later motors. Same threads, just a smaller outer size so you can get a racheting wrench on them. -Bill
