the black painted on brought out some more color in it

finished taping took like 2 hours




my airbrush

painted and clear coat was still wet

tape off and looks great


upgraded tool box so dont have to leave tools in my truck

Use this on everything. Painted tons of rc bodies with this stuff. It leaves no residue and cuts very well. I highly recommend it and save you the time.
Available at hobby shops.

Nice work. I'm soo jealous. picked up an'86 that is pristine, but would kill for a roll bar and a pair of seats just cant seem to find any. keep at it !
yep:cool:alot of people are, have roll bars and jump seats for my dads 79 brat and my 85 brat:D, there rare even here in oregon hope u can find them and keep your brat rust free, its a challenge to get rid rust once it starts even where the roads don't get salted, my 85's going to get the third eye setup sometime i just bought the grill, third eye(passing lamp, off road light, scyclopse, ect.) ,and bezals:headbang: also i got new tail lights:Donly for $150, your going to be jealous when i get my brush guard setup like i want on my 85 and the factory brush guard for the 79 brat

mostly apart now







most of the engine compartment apart/before washing

after washing and taking apart the engine compartment the rest im going to cover and tape





perfect time for ej swap right:lol: but staying with stock engine to keep original its going to look great once painted and put back together and done;)

Very cool and keeping it stock.. I like that... Keeping it original color or something different???
not sure yet but think my dad wants it green but the green we bought is really dark so might pick out another color or mix in white to make it lighter and need to pick up some more primer first

pics are from last week and week before
took badges off to prime tailgate


even priming/painting the components

took off the aluminum pieces above the doors












whats this? it was on where the head light bucket was

sanding tail gate still working on it though
