I just bought a 2006 Outback Impreza Sport and am wondering how I can turn the seatbelt alert off. I always wear my belt but am sometimes in my car working and not driving. And the alert drives me crazy! Any help would be fantastic! Thanks!

Welcome to the board.
This works! I hated the chime in the 06 Wagon I had, but this trick works wonderfully.

Put the belt behind you and connect it.

You could jumper the wires together where it plugs in under the driver seat.
