Hello,
This is my first post here. I have been active on the BMW (have a 2000 328i) and Mazda (HAD an RX7 Turbo) boards. I am buying a 1996 Outback that has a blown head gasket but is in otherwise excellent condition. Is there any info. around about changing the head gaskets? I've done rebuilds on other engines so this is something that I should be able to handle myself but I have never done anything on a Subaru. Thanks in advance for the help.
Todd

Welcome to the board. The problem you are encountering is one of voluninous verbiage lately. Do a search on blown headgaskets and you'll find a gold mine of information.

Welcome to the board!
Sounds like a great car, hope you got a good deal on it. Replace the gasket yourself and have a great car at a great price!
