In a post somewhere on here it said that some of these engines had forged internials from the factory.I was just wondering if there was somewhere that showed like hp, CR, stuff like that

What does the G stand for in EJ20G? Where can I find out more info about this engine?

Who on here has done a complete engine AND drive train swap on here? Any post about it?

I am within a three hour drive of them so shipping is not a big deal for me.

I did a search but couldn't find anything on this, but has anyone one here or anywhere else done or seen a left side driver to right side driver conversion? Are there any post on here or anywhere about it? I haven't even seen a right side driver wagon on here.

Some pictures of what I did today! Wanted to take the a/c and heater systems out. I'm not sure how mush of the interior I will put back, keepin it as light as I can, not done tho. how do i get the piston pin out. the book said i need a special tool. is there any other way?

I found it. A complete gasket and seal kit. O'Reillys has a fel pro kit for about $165. They said it has every seal and gasket for the engine. I'm gunna order it when I get paid Friday. I'm still tring to get the engine clean anyway so I can wait.

I was thinking about that. I'll probably do those too.

I'm going to replace all of the gaskets and seals except for the rear main and front main seals. I already have the engine out and torn down. I'm in the process of cleaning it up. The last couple of months I was driving it oil leaked all over the place.

Is there anywhere I can see a list of all the seals and gaskets for an EA82T (maybe with pics).

Does anyone know which gaskets come in the fel pro gasket set from advance auto?

Thanks for the suggestion. The engine runs great just leaks everywhere. Where do I get the Fel-Pro gasket set? About how much would it cost to do all of the seals, gaskets, and timing belts?

To start off this engine only has about 80000 miles on it but is leaking oil from every possible place. It was sitting for almost 10 years before I bought it so all the seals dry rotted. I am trying to descide to reseal it or get another engine. If I reseal I am going to get the kit from Subaru, but I don't kno where to get another engine from. Its not a question of if I can do it but which is cheaper and quicker. The engine is an EA82T.

I like my to be able to hear what my engine is doing. I tend to drive harder when the exhaust is louder. I don't have a radio in my car either cause I like to listen to the car.

I have to replace my front cv joints so while I was waiting on them I wanted to see if I could use RWD, and to see how different it would handle.

My GL-10 wagon has a center diff lock. If I lock it could I take the front half shaves out without worring about breaking anything? I read on here that some people with the trans that can be front wheel drive put them in 4WD and can take the front shaves out. I wasn't sure if it would work the same.

I talked to her again today, she said she couldn't go under $500 because thats what she has in it. Unless I can get her down to about $200 I'm not gunna get it. I don't have the funds for it.

thats what i was thinking. it was actually worse than i wrote but i just wanted to see how much i could get if it was actually decent, and its barely that.

Someone near me is selling an 89 RX F/T AWD D/R turbo with the center diff lock and I think it had an LSD. This sounds good so far. Thats what I thought too. I went and looked at it today and somebody didn't love this car very much. It had a bit of rust, dents all over it, driver side fender smashed in, needs new tires, and they said their son drove it down at the river alot.(Engine was covered with mud) I took it for a test drive and it had a little trouble going. The clutch was slipping really bad and the engine didn't want to rev up. It had 168 thousand and some miles on it. The interior had rats living in it but could be cleaned up. They are asking $700 for it but said it was negotionable. What do ya'll think is a fair price? (This would be a project car and does not have to be on the road right away)

My 89 GL-10 doesn't have a remote lock, at least I don't think it does. What would be the point in it if it didn't open the gate?
