Keeping it stock
The more I read the more confused I get. Anyone with a newer car, is wrong to keep it stock, but if you have an older your wrong to not keep it stock. WTF? I have been keeping up with the FF1 project thread. Everyone is like keep it real, keep it stock, I don't like the wheels bla bla bla. You guys must think I've destroyed my 79 DL cause I painted it all crazy and what not. So someone PLEASE enlighten me on these thought processes. If anything it makes more sense to me the other way around. Mod the old and keep the newer stock.

Radiator ready to go in, 1 Question??
got it in and fired her up tonite Thanks again Todd, it looks great. Maybe one day I'll get the whole car done. No run no drips no errors. I had to buy brass pite fittings 1/8 in. I also had to buy a corner peice to keep the botton line away from the pully (which is in the wrong place:lol:)

Radiator ready to go in, 1 Question??
Thanks to Subaru3 for hooking me up with the new radiator. It's now ready to put in, after I had to rig up some trans lines receivers. QUESTION?? Should I prime the radiator through the ATF lines before I hook back up?

Sudden stalling in traffic - now with explosions!
Clogged exhaust? Blowing chuncks don't sound good, and the throwing of the chuncks, how far? It's gotta be building pressure to blow chuncks. (No goofy jokes about puking, or that chuncks is a dog, it wouldn't be prudent.)

removing a/c condensor **PICS ADDED**
Thank you, yes, I do need to make a trip to the hardware store:lol: The one where I have the washers backwards, the bolt would go through the lock washer, so I put it second. It only powers the fan, but really I would not have known it made a difference. I'll take all the advice I can get.

removing a/c condensor **PICS ADDED**
It's done, not pretty, but done:lol: OK, so I could use another bolt, and not the swingset bolt, gotta find one though.

removing a/c condensor **PICS ADDED**
Thanks, I understand now. I can't find an Idler pully, so I bought a random pully and bolt and washers to fab my own. I will post pics when the carnage is done.

removing a/c condensor **PICS ADDED**
I then don't see how the belt driven fan will work? I wouldn't need what you have if I go without the outer belt and used electric fan. I don't need what you have in other words. Or I just confused:confused: Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the help, but I'm gonna just use the idle pully and make slots on the bracket where it bolts on, so I can adjust tension that way.

removing a/c condensor **PICS ADDED**
ok, see diagram now. Looks like it's missing the outer belt. It would appear my crank pulley is different, for mine has two grooves for belts, the inner, which looks like your photo, and an outer one isn't pictured at all.

removing a/c condensor **PICS ADDED**
On my car the alternator is powered by the inner belt, along with the water pump. The outer belt, powers only the A/C and belt driven fan. . Are we talking about the same belt? BTW. I can't see diagram:confused:
