  1. I slit the hose down the middle, to make a seal for the rough edges of the plexiglass, all the way around the edges.
  2. this pic may help Don't need to cut the topof the grill out. You can see the motor. The whole thing actually leans forward, but the light can be adjusted all the way up to compensate.
  3. Cut like this, you could leave a little on the bottom, and across the top will be ok to leave too. I cut out a little too much, but it still looks ok.
  4. The motor fit ok in the 79dl after I removed the A/C radiator. I had to cut some of the cyclops frame to make a good fit,, but it fit.

  6. Secondary air cleaner on a Historic Subaru:lol: I'd be happy with a firstdary air cleaner, but probably use up to thirdary air cleaner and it still smell like an old car.
  7. Wow, maybe I'll just keep the sub and amp out. It sounds pretty good already.
  8. It will look factory after I take the grill back off and paint some things up from the dremel damage. Gotta turn it a little too (the eye it kinda cockeyed right now:lol: ). I don't think I'm putting a whole more on the alt, the stereo only has two speakers total, and the 3rd eye, and one neon tube. I just worry when I hook up the amp and 10"sub in the trunk:headbang: Any suggestions for replacement alternator if/when I toast mine? I believe the original is on there now. It only has 56k original miles.
  9. Looks like alot of fun:headbang:

  12. The all elusive Third eye fabbed into 79 DL (thanks barracuda) Chop out support braces hacksaw fun:headbang: More hacksaw: Hang the eye: Dremel time: Almost there: Done:
  13. only one person likes my speakers, or are the rest of ya speechless?
  14. do you have to push your clutch in to start the car? Maybe some sort of overide for that.
  15. You too can can do this with plexiglass, material from wal-mart, a cheap neon from autozone, couple speakers laying around, and some small garden hose soaker type. And too much time on my hands:drunk: Before: During: After: More: Last one:
  16. I like it, I'm gonna put yellow flames coming out of the hood vents on mine.
  17. Yes I saw that. I give to your for the bargain basement discount rate of $10k.
  18. No motor mods at all. I wish it had 4wd, but I have no idea how to do all that. I would one day like to sell this and get me a Brat.
