Hey guys, My car is having a little trouble atm...Just wondering if anyone has come across this b4..When travelling at say 80k/s or under, my car is fine.. but when i put my foot down past 4000rpm/or 110kpm, the taco goes spastic, and the car coughs and jolts around.... i have changed the fuel filter, and oil filter. i bought some fuel injector cleaner but havent tried that yet...Could it be the fuel pump? Also i havent gotten anyone to drive behind me yet to see if it smoke at all, i know it doesnt when it idles/drives fine, but when its hiccupping, i dont know...this engine is a ej22, gen3series2(or gen2ser3, cant member) 96 model anyway....Thanx guys..any input would be greatly appreciated... i hope its not too seriousCheersAdam

hey all i got centre diff lock now:) all that i had to do was put a fuse in the carrier under the hood, on the car the engine and gearbox came out of, it says 4wd, on my lseries bay, it says fwd, so i never thought of trying it, then someone suggested it to me and it works.... Im over the moon.. cheers all

i think it is a 95 gearbox could possibly be 96. Twin turbo box, 4 speed auto..What else is needed? Thanx all

Andyjo: Thankyou very much for that step through, i did the same, i checked pin 11, and i got 14 ohms, so i still spliced and splined and all that, turns out that my TT gearbox doesnt have centre diff lock, it was "hold" so i was driving around takin off in 2nd gear, also the revs where alot higher too. So im a bit bummed out at the moment that it didnt work, but at least i gave it a go.... Thanx all for your help. Adam

Hey all, i have a auto AWD series 3 Gen 2 TT box out of a 95?, and i want to make it have selectable centre diff lock, yet i have no idea how to do so. Has anyone done one of these before? A mate told me that you have to do something like this... You need to supply 12v to the Duty C solenoid in the centre diff and it will lock like a selectable box. Is there anything else involved?
