I have searched many websites about this.. Can someone please put up a detailed(with pics) walk-thru of how to replace lash adjusters on a EA82(T).. i pulled of my rocker covers, but know i dont have the faintest of what to do to get to them. My engine is in the car atm.. Can u replace them whilst the engine is in the car?? I know it would be preffered and alot easier to do it with it out.. but atm i dont really have that option... This damn ticking is driving me mad.. All i really need is some sense of direction where to go..and what to undo... Space is obvioulsy pretty tight, but not too big a deal.. So can sum1 please tell me and show me (thru pics) how to do this. Will be GREATLY appreciated.. Thankyou Adam

i had no choice but to drive it home like that.. a whole 2 or so hrs.. just taking it easy..i think what caused it was a bit of that quicksand, but the main thing was i hit a pretty big rock pretty hard to try and get over it... my car made it, but didnt like it..When i got home,. i took it to a mate and he put her back in and welded it nicely..

Well i figured out the problem. i had a look at my knock sensor, that was fine.... then i decided just to tinker about and check all my connections... i found this... i wsant sure was it did or was(still dont) but i saw that the plastic surrounding was broken and the plug was loose. i wedged it up so it was tight, and took it for a spin, didnt miss a beat.... now i need to either get a new surrounding, or super glue it back together.. here are some pics... Ther red bracket is whats broken(between the bolt and plug) here is the plug Here is it unplugged Here are where the plugs are..Note the plug surrounding that is broken is the lower right one And here is just a pic of my car(with temp quarter panel..just testing snorkel) also, sorry bout dodge pics, there from my camerea fone..
