  2. Hey guys.. Just a small update with lots of pics:P Had Will and Daniel come over to help with the TT strip down.. Didn't get too far, but it was still fun to work on it. i live a good hour away from my parents house where the cut lives, so this weekend just gone was the first time i saw it with my own eyes, and wont be able to see it again till the 16th.. Which on that weekend i will be updating this topic again. Hopefully with the engine and acc out of the cut Anyways.. Nuff blabbering on. Here are some pics of the progress. Some essentials

  4. Car over and sitting on Stands wagz sore makes me cry a little on the inside Slammed L series mm ouch Stuck under front Passenger side damage Sliced floor pan So thats the first weeked gone. Still pissed about the accident. Ahh well.
  5. Front all naked LOL thats all ill say Then i decided to do something VERY stupid. I took the sedan for a quick spin too see how we did.. We didnt bleed the brakes, which i knew needed to be done, but i couldn't wait. So i took it out of the drive way and went around the corner, came back up the driveway, and completley forgot about the brakes.... Had a brain freeze and drone into my wagon which was still on the jack stands.... Knocked it off the stand and did some damage to the under body.. I can tell you i wasn'f happy at all. Not to mention i felt like and absolute ****wit. So here are some pics of the damage. Standing proud of what he did. Naughty Subaru!

  7. Note this is the same as my ASbaru thread. Thought id post up my plans and progress of my L series offroader. To start with i have a L series Sedan with some goodies on it including 5 stud conversion., ej22 and 3" lift kit. I also have a L series wagon with a ea82T and rear disc brakes. My plans are to swap the 5 std gear from the sedan into the wagz and 4 stud from wagz to sedan. Then sell the sedan, and put a 6" lift under the wagon, EJ20TT it and put some 31" muddiez under it. This weekend johnny (bluesteel) came up to help me with the swaperoo. Started off well. I already had the wagon up on stands and some rear drive line off. Saturday we got the rest of the gear off the wagon, and took everything out from the sedan and did the swap. (Thanx Johnny) Anyway. here are some progress pics.   10. Wagon mate. Im gunna sell the sedan soon. mudrat ran 29s i think. Pretty sure he has a 3"bl and 2" worth of raised springs.
  11. ok cheers guys. i have changed my order form a 4 ro a 6. Will see how it goes;) so no one has put this size on a L series? (except AA)

  13. I do have a spare 4.44 vtd auto box lying about. But this time im considering a manual 4.11 ej box. with the l series low range. If that doesnt work then ill go back to the auto. As for the tyre size difference, prolli nothing at all. I just wanna do something different to the rest. No real reason or anything. Not too many BIGger L series in Aus. None in tassie. Ill be running EJ Cvs up front with the coilover kit on my outback struts.
  14. Cheers, my mate runs 30s on his brumby with a 4" lift. he said he could fit 31s, but wouldnt be very comfy. Was just curious if anyone knows with an 85-94 model.?
  15. Hey all. im about to lift up my l series wagon and put some 31 mudz under her. I have ordered a 4" lift kit but can change it to a 6" in the next day or so. Has anyone here done a lift to squeeze 31s under an L before? If so what lift did you do to achieve this, and do you think a 4" will work? Thanx all for your time. Adam
  16. This is my current ride.. About to start my new sexier project;) The sedan is made up from EJ22, Auto VTD Gearbox, 4.44, VLSD, Centre Diff Lock(yum), only 27" tyres:(. 3" lift, outback structs and kingsprings. other goodies. SORRY I POSTED MORE THAN 2 PICS.. IF YOU WANT JUST PM ME AND ILL GET RID OF SOME. CHEERS

Hey, sorry to hijack thread.. i am having problems with my central locking.. where abouts is the control unit for central locking? i have had a look, and the manual say behind the instrument cluster to the right of the fuse panel.. i have looked but i dont really know what im looking for.... Ive never had the power locks working since if had the car. i have try different locking mechanisms, its like there is no power activating the other doors? any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers Adam
  18. mine has the tree blocks and has pulled the captive nuts thru the floor:mad:. What is this updated 1 peice design?? ive never heard of it.. can someone plz upload a pic of it?? would be muchly apprecieated... Thanx all Adam

  22. ok cheers, done that, started first go.. ************in tapping is louder than ever. .i took off the oil pump again to make sure its ok.. seemed ok. there wasnt an O ring behind the rotor tho, which i think there should be??, nor was there a oil pressure relief valve... Ohh and i have NFI how to put the rotor back in correctly.. Hrmm. any help on these things would be greatly appreciated. Cheers guys.
  23. Hey all, i just replaced my oil pump seals.. i put it all back together, but now the car wont start:confused: It just keeps turning over.. I think it minght have something to do with the timing, but i dont know how it could have changed? The cams have those white dots on them(where u face one up, and the other down to get the timing right) but when the left hand side is facing up, the right hand isnt down, and there are 2 white markings on it and there left and right:confused:. Anyone have any suggestions? (does that even make sense how i wrote it:-\. Sorry guys. But any help would be greatly appreciated. I think i have fuel in it:cool:
