  2. So, back to this fuel cut thing. Has anyone installed a FCD or custom fabbed one? I know a guy on bbs.legacycentral that made his own. Quite ingenious.

Well, it's been forever since I've posted, but I have some questions. - What is a good bolt up turbo for the money for a 88 Turbo Wagon? - Can I use a XT pressure plate and disk/throwout/pilot? - What's the Accel part # for the Super Stock Coil? - What kind of intakes are you running? - What's the general consensis on intercoolers? What works best? - Would a 3in turbo back be to big? - How about cross drilled/slotted rotors in front? - How much boost can we run before fuel cut?

  5. I took off my MBC, and fixed my intake so it's a smooth flow now, but I still have a problem. When accelerate my tac begins to climb, but as i give it more gas it doesn't accelerate it just says at about 2 thousand RPMs and feels like it's guna die. And then all of a sudden it will spool up and go just fine. Im not sure what it could be though.

  7. I was thinking that swapping the hot wire for the vane would be the best bet for eliminating fuel cut.
  8. Could it be the contacts inside the swich that are corroded?
  9. Today I was toyin around with the sub and experienced the joy of the fuel cut. All I have to say is holy **** that is crazy. The whole car feels like it's going into shutdown mode. So I got to thinking that instead of building a circut to fix this problem, why not just swap an 86 Turbo ECU in? I don't know if this would do anything, but I thought i'd put it out there.

  12. I got the problem fixed now, it was the damn bend in my intake piping that was messing things up. I got her running real good now. Now it's time for some valve cover gaskets and a new rack and pinion.
  13. O2 sensor - I change mine every 30,000 miles. This may correct your rough idle. Check your plugs and make sure they are not fowled up, replace the PCV valve, air fliter, fuel fliter. Basic maintinence will help idle and gas MPG a lot. I think the axle ratio is 3.70 or somthing like that. EGR valve is not often the problem, they don't hardley ever go bad.

  15. Looks like blood. When iI did my subie engine rebuild. I used the 1000 and 500 degree paint. Painted my block,heads,intake runners, almost everything aluminum. It looks wasy good.
  16. Thanks for the welcome. The problem is when I get on the gas and get the at above 3grand in RPMS then it begins to chug or feels like it cuts out. How can I be rid of this problem? It seems that I must deal with this electronically, since I have a 88 or newer car. On my 86 I just pluged off a black film canister looking thing and she ran great.
