is the filter part of the pump assembly ?

So after you replaced your filter everything was good again? Because it didnt feel like it happened slow. It was running fine then started doing that then was done and my freind who had it before me let the gas run out of it all the time and i know that that can kill a fuel pump.

Ok i am pretty sure it is my fuel pump that died i just want to make sure before i drop the gas tank on what you guys think. This is a 1994 Impreza L and I was driving down the interstate and it started kinda putting a little kinda like the fuel was cutting off or something and it was jerking some and losing power and then it just started doing it alot and pretty much lost all my power. When i start it up it will start but when i push down on the petal it revs a tiny bit then it will a little more then ill hold it to the floor and it will go a little tiny bit for a second then die. I cant think of anything else it could be other than that. Tell me what you all think and your opinions and if you have had the same experience / symptoms. Thanks Jordan

I could not find them on GenuineParts. Do you have to go to like the OEM catalog? Because it didnt have pics and i wanted to make sure i buy the right things. I already ordered my Forester Struts. The KYB ones. I got a pretty good deal only Costed me $316 for all 4 of them

Those of you who did the Forester Struts to Impreza or anything like that conversion where did you get your Forester Coil Springs i cant find them anywhere. I want the ones like the stock forester had not lowering springs. Im trying to get that extra 1.5 inch of clearnence.

Oh yea nice wheels and Rims Zapar. What size rims and wheels are those? Im trying to get an idea of what i want to do for mine. I wasnt sure yet but i need advice and Rims and Wheels also. I need something bigger and Knobbier

Anyone know any good place to buy some new Forester Springs maybe higher performance ones. Not lowering = D. That is all i can seem to find. Who in the world would want to lower a forester. I still havent looked on ebay yet though

The KYB's i found were 316 for 4 struts and i havent found any springs yet. I might be able to spend a good deal more if i wait like two more weeks. My poor subarus suspension is so done that if i turn hard it will bottom out so i have just been driving my RX-7

Yeah i was looking at the KYB, I think im going to go with those but i think im going to need some fresh springs where could i get those? i have like $600 to spend on suspension

For those of you who used Monroe... Which kind did you all use. Im planning on doing this gig next month. I need to know what to buy. Thanks

hehe same springs??? I think i might be needing some new springs = ). Mine have been through hell and back and I have 170K on the ticker. They are factory. I cant really tell by looking at the how much tension they are still getting. You think they are still ok?

Oh yea what Brand of struts/ springs did you guys use?

I have all the tools anyone could ever need . Is there anyway you could get me the part numbers on those springs and struts/shocks. 1.5 is like exactly what im looking for. Would be awsome if i could see a pic of what your impreza looks like afterward. Oh yea, Those will bolt on right? Im not trying to do a bunch of fabrication to the strut towers or anything like that. But wheelwells will be cut = 0. Im planning on throwing something knobbier under there. Thanks man, you guys rock! Jordan

Wow finally i found a place where i might be able to get some answers. Whew all the other subaru forums think nothing of offroading them but "Stupid". I'm wanting to make my 1994 Subaru Impreza L a little more sturdy for some offroading. Maybe a lift soon as well. I dont care about scraping the bottom too much i already have protection for the oilpan and y pipe. This subaru takes a beating pretty well. The suspension has had it and it is done. I am short of money right now because of my rx-7 but i need some suspension advice and i might be lifting it as soon as I have my suspension in order. What would be the best kind of suspension to throw on this thing? I have heard rumors about using forester struts and stuff like that but i have no idea if it is true. I just need advice and tips. I need new struts for the front and rear on this thing. Thanks Jordan
