  1. Thanks guys ill be on the hunt for one now to put in the grill
  2. Just noticed this after looking through the first section of the real early Subys. SoobGoob I too am chasing a 3rd eye but i am in Oz, can you help?
  3. as the topic says. What models did they come out on and how hard are they to get your hands on one. I am going to do a restoration on a 1978 Brat (Brumby here in OZ) and have seen in pics that the US got a centre light in the grill. Thanks Dave...
  4. Not wanting to start a war of words but, by what i have seen, there are alot of (early) Foresters in wrecking yards that have been rolled over which according to the wreckers was common when pushed hard through corners. There was also a member of our Suby club that rolled their Forester which was unlifted. I also know there are many lifted ones getting around with no problems. The ones that are rolled make finding a good one harder and more expensive maybe a reason.
  5. The early Forester 2L had a reasonable low range and the later 2.5 have the povvo low range.
  6. Our Foresters have a low range (except the turbo)
  7. Generally in Oz we dont have too many Foresters getting thrashed around is that they are too expensive as a starting point before you start to be adventurous
  8. I love the EA82T but to be honest if you want power then go the EJ, you will save yourself a heap of cash and headaches to boot
  9. I have an 86 RX Chassis number JF2AC5BROBE607480 the car is in NSW Australia.
  10. I was wondering did you people in the US get a Legacy with a twin turbo in 1996-97? Why im asking is im hunting down a wiring diagram for it. In particular the one with the single bolt on plug to the ECU rather than the 3 separate plugs.
