What do you think? should i replace my engine? Well here is my situation. I have a blown head gasket, it needs to be replaced and i also need to probably reseal everything. (and even then who knows how bad my heads are warped) I can either let richierich do it for near a grand or more. OR should i get a new engine from CCR? i dont have too much engine experience. I know i can do a engine swap but I am afraid of messin somethin up if i try and do the head gasket and reseal myself. Not only that i would probally take too long on it since i have no idea on how to do it. Time and money is something i both do not have. so considering i am going to get this fix i most likely will be getting in to some debt. considering that either way i go i will be in debt should i just purchase a new engine and be reassured with the three year warrenty? Or should i hope the best and get my seals and head gasket replaced on the engine i have, and hope nothing else goes wrong in the next three years? Give me your opinions please. tell me what you would do? yeah that wont be to far of a drive at all. but i wont be able to make it now. In less i can get my blown head gasket fixed by then which is doubtfull. Dang! i really wanted to go too. ohh well ill let you know if i get lucky and can make it

well dont i feel stupid. I have the same problem and put in bars_leaks it seems to work. it stopped gushing out radiator fluid. and is runnin alright. but crap u guys make me sound like a complete dumb rump roast for doin that. but i didnt know any better. Looks like i got a project to work on now. can anyone send me instuctions on how to do this?

well solved the problem, it was my exhaust. it was loose haha well its all fixed now

Well i am not sure whats goin on with my soob. It is making a really loud drum roll sound. But its only when i am in gear and moving. when in nuetral and not moving it dosnt make any noise. it is really really loud i woke up my neighbor one time cause of how loud it sounds. it starts of as a low sound but when i step on it a little harder it makes a lot louder of a noise. So i f you guys could help me i would appreciate it. I have looked up other threads and found one. I also talked to some people and they think it could be a number of things (u-joints, axle, cv joints-which i dont think because it does not sound worst when i am turning, and exhaust) I would really like to get it fixed. Please help me out. Thanks P.S it is not my oil lifters i put a brand new oil pump in it not even a month ago. and even then it only makes the sound when i am moving, not when i am just idling or revving.

I should be there i am a newbie. i have a 87 subaru wagon that i am workin on. should hopefully be partially done by then. How far is that from vancouver, WA? i am thinkin if its near vadar may be a 45min drive? not to sure about the area. thanks

ohh hell yeah! i will be there with my wagon! i am a newbie and i have a 87' wagon. the things the shiz! i love it. It's white with 14 ich rims and tinted windows its got a manaflow systm all the way through and a weber carb. thats just the half of it too!
