  1. i am in for sure just email me the price or PM me. i just got my pugs and now i need a lift. however if it is more then $300 each then i am out. I can also pick up. i dont need it shipped out to me. yodannyc@yahoo.com
  2. y do u need peugeot lugs? u cant just use any lugs? uh oh i just got a set of pugs with no lugs! i thought you can just use any lugs
  3. Thanks el toro for my sweet lookin pugs! very clean and not bad on the price! oh and thanks for takin the 10.00 of i almost ran out of gas going home! lol guess next time i should think of the gas. drrr:rolleyes: anyway. when i get it lifted we will have to go off roadin.
  4. depending on the price put me down for a ea-82 moderate lift. Possibly some rims too. Y are you guys quiting th subaru accessories? That is sad to hear. If i get rims is it possible to get the outter ring in chrome? i e-mailed you guys awhile ago about it and never got a response.
  5. So right now i am running 13" calmaster rims. The reason is because i can not seem to find any pugs. So any one that lives in the portland area, let me know where i can find some pugeot rims! thanks
  6. Hey i need one calmaster chrome rim. If you have a set still contact me. I am desperate to find a match to the exsisting rims i have. Got in a accident. and one of my calmaster rims is bent. so i desperetly need another one. thanks, DC
  7. Well awesome for me anyways. So i dont know if you guys remeber me saying that i have a new import engine with new exhaust and blah blah blah. but i was only getting 17-19 mpg! Which i can not afford due to gas prices. so i replaced my plug wires and fuel filter and air filter and spark plugs, cap, rotor. basically full tune up. still only averaged 19-21mpg so i knew my brakes were bad, but i had no idea just how bad! had to get new rotors new caliper hard wear and pads, plus my rear break lines were filled with dirt. from all the fun. so after all of that. i am now happily saying i am getting 27mpg! yyyyyyyyaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy! that is realy good for me since i have never owned a car that gets better then 20mpg. i did not know brakes could effect your cars gas millage that much! but it did to mine. So if your getting bad gas millage then check your brakes! up next a weber carb.
  8. mine is white as well. It's imperial white. thats what the paint guy said. he mixed it and then i painted. matched perfectly.
  9. Yeah i keep hearing about that whole acetone thing. I keep telling myself i am going to go try it. I mean what is the worst that can happen right? might as well try it. so that will be another thing i try.
  10. ok give me about $300. lol whats up anyway GD. yup got her running
  11. Hey thanks for all the help. Well as for my exhaust. it is all new, 2.5" all the way to the back. the tail pipe has some black around the edges. does that mean anything? I am going to replace my wires and fuel filter tomorrow and see if that does anything. brakes are needing attention, but i dont understand how that can effect gas millage. but they are getting done next week anyway. tires are flatted properly, so Yeah i am leaning towards vaccum leak or carb. my idle is fine though. it does not jump around or anything, stay's consistent. last time i looked at my carb and cleaned it it looked really good. but who knows? any more help would be welcome. I will get back to you all, and hopefully i will see some progression.
  12. so i have a 87' subaru wagon all stock. carbed. new motor with less then 35,000 miles with perfect compression. no exhaust leaks new plugs and new cap and rotor. so what the heck!? i am getting only 19-21 mpg. y is not up around 24-28mpg like most subies?
  13. yeah, it does not die it just feels like i am trying to move with the ebrake on. only this ebrake is super powerful and will not let my car move even a inch! when i am normally driving it works just fine. although i am a little hestiant on using it on any bigger hills in fear of it locking up. but smaller hills it works fine and releases fine.
  14. So my hill hold gets stuck on when i park it on a steep hill. I was at a friends house and he has a steep driveway. I go up it. press the brake and pull up the e-brake. I turn off the car. 5 min later get back in release the e-brake and pop in reverse and i dont move. it wont go forward or backwards. So i waited for like 2 hours and came back out and it released no problem! this is the second time. so is my hill hold too tight or what? and how do i adjust it? thanks for your time DC
  15. get a weber! that what i want to do. If you have a craptachi carb. replace!
  16. Wow your kinda of an rump roast. i am not cryin, its not like i care. i am just updating ppl as to whats going on with my subaru. its obvious that junkyards are your friends and i am just learning about cars. So sometimes i need help and therefore i ask, but rarely do i receive and so i end up taking it to someone. however i have been getting more confident with the wrench. I am in construction, give me a nail bag and a hammer and ill build you a house, give me a wrench and a car i dont know what to do. but i am learning. As for the lift i still want it and thats up to me to ruin the car or not. i only want a small lift just for rallying on soft dirt trails. i might not even get a lift but adjust the struts and get a little bit bigger tires. as for the exhaust i got the top of the line magnaflow on it. could be one reason why it was spendy another could be i just got ripped off and didnt know any better at the time. ohh well, learn from your mistakes. so anyways dont be a rump roast, theres no reason to be.
  17. thanks for all the responses i dont feel as bad now! lol nah i planned on spending this much anyways. on lift and tires and options. but this engine crap is delaying me from getting to that point not to mention costing me more. when i bought the car i had 5000 planned to spend on it. but by then it was to be a a super off road rig. but, 5000 invested and no where close to being off road yet. ohh well!
  18. theres a vancouver, WA too. lol. so yeah i will finish my project. new motor goes in this week and i'll drive it for a bit, 6 months or so then lift it. but we will see. i still ove the thing too. even though it cost me soo much money. I've just had too many good times in it compared to the bad.
  19. yeah i dont feel to bad about my car. its just a bummer. but it will be awesome when i get done with everthing. i am thinkin i'lll lift it right after the new motor. by the way scrap487 i noticed you live portlando. how far are you from vancouver? perhaps we can go wheelin sometime when i am done with my rig.
  20. heads were warped, it did need the heads shaved. exhaust i could have done but i had money and didnt have time. so i had someone else do it. now i dont have money or time! lol! ohh well
  21. How am i going to prove it was there fault. My friend went there and talked to them about it and the shop said they dont usually plain alluminum heads. they just did what they were told. and thats it.
