pyromanic, i can't believe you think the mechanical fan is a pia to remove. As for the noise, i found the twin thermo's to be quieter than the mechanical one.

Take the mechanical fan off and replace it with an electric fan.

I have done a defencive driving course. I think its money well worth. It has helped me out a few times.

You will prolly have to modify your support panel. A few people have been talking about it on Ausubaru.com. That was the general consensis.

There is a bug that lives down the road from me with an ej20t power plant, and huge lift etc etc. Absolute rocket ship and a great little sleeper.

Sounds like it might be the thermostat or possible air lock in the system.

I have a small piece of hydraulic (sp?) hose I got from work (John Deere Dealership). Put it on about this time last year and its still going strong.
