looks like they used a plastic intake and plastic caps on the side of the intercooler.

are they still going to make a sti?the new wrx needs a big sti wing on the back and big scoop on the hood.

nice looking car,it should be able to do 140.

it is for the wrx,i do not the blowby going back into the intake.

does anyone use a oil catch can on there subaru?i am thinking of putting one on ,the car has 170k on it .

I have seen some WRX s cheap out here,picked up my 02 for $6000,and saw a couple outher 1 s in LA for around $7000.When you put the down pipe on just keep the the old 1 for when its time to smog,its easy to change.

i paid $250 for my old 96 outback with blown headgaskets,there was a 97 ouback for sale around here awile ago with blown headgaskets for $700.

There s nothing wrong with trying to have some fun in the wrx,it is his car he can do what he wants with it.

a 2.2 computer would not fire my 2.5 when i tried it.

The subaru wrecking yard here wants $2800 for a used wrx motor,and 1800 for a trans.

The same thing happened to me about 2 months ago.What i ended up doing is pounding a chisel in the back of the crank sprocket,it worked but i also had to replace the oil pump because the chisel messed it up.There was no outher way i could get the sprocket off even a puller wouldnt work.

its every outher year for the smog inspection,ive been on the NASOIC website and the people are not as helpful as the people on this site.

I am going to get the car out of my name ,the car still has california plates so i know they have not put it in there name yet.

I sold my 96 outback yesterday to some guys from Reno for $1200 now they have it listed for $2800.They say the car runs great and is fast,there was alot of problems with the car and doubt anyone will get it to smog without putting in a new motor.The car had over 246000 on it and leaked alot of oil.I had the car listed for $1800 and they talked me down to 1200 saying they needed a car badly,less than 24 hours later they put it back up for sale.

i was lucky enough to get a wrx for 6000,im not going to do much to it with the smog laws here.

is this a interference motor?the guy always had a shop do the work he didnt seem like the type to work on the car himself.

what are the few bolt ons to get 300hp ?

the car has 168,000 and the guy said the belt was replaced 4 months ago,not sure when the plugs where done,ill start with them.

this car is the 02 wrx that has the missfirecodes,and rich on left bank.

This motor has the coils on each plug ,i hope that they do not need to be replaced,i have to get the car ready to smog and get rid or the codes.

i would fix the headgaskets ,that should be the cheapest way.i did mine on my 96 and it was done for under $400.
