  1. Anyone out there who has installed a SJR lift kit, I have a couple questions. Was it an all bolt on job or was there some fabrication needed? Does it come with complete installation instructions? I noticed that it said the steering shaft needed to be lengthened, how is this done? Is there anything else about the kit & its installation that I should know? Thanks, Ray:cool:
  2. Thanks for the info! 3eyed. Ray:cool:
  3. I'm new at this. What is the difference between an EA81 & EA82? Which D/R tranny would I look for for my '92 Loyale wagon? Ray:cool:
  4. I'm new & this may be a stupid question but what's the difference between an EA81 & EA82??? Thanks, Ray:cool:
  5. If you lived closer, I'd be all over it!
  6. Tim, What are you asking for it ? Any pics? Ray:cool:
  7. Thanks Jeff, I'm picking up the wagon today! I'll post some pics when I get them. Ray:cool:
  8. It's a 5 spd. manual trans. Since I am an avid surf fisherman, most of my off-roading will consist of driving on flat sand surfaces. I definetly need the ground clearance & the larger tires to keep the under carriage out of the sand. After I test drive it on the beach, I'll see if I feel it needs the D/R swap. How difficult is the swap? Will it pretty much drop right in or is there a lot involved? Thanks for all your help, Ray Hibbs:cool:
  9. Hey everyone! I'm fairly new to the board & have fallen in love with Soobies! I bought an '87 Justy GL about a year ago & I was hooked! I just bought a '92 Loyale 4x4 wagon & I want to put a 4" lift under it & 14" or 15" wheels. I need help, first of all who carries the lift kits? (I'm gonna have someone else install it). Next where do you get 14" or 15" four lug wheel? Any & all help or suggestions are well appreciated. I'll be posting pics as the build progresses. Thanks in advance, Ray:cool:
  10. Thanks for all the help! Wish me luck I'll update you guys on how I make out! Thanks, Ray:cool:
  11. Hey guys & gals, I'm new to the board & have been on a long endless search for some answers! I've been autox my Justy GL for the last few months & have been searching for answers on upgrading the suspension. It's an '87 in great condition, some ??? engine mods, full roll cage & two 5-point harnesses. The ??? on the engine is because the kid I bought it from had owned less than a year & he didn't have any info on the person (previous owner) who did all this work. All I know is it has a hell of a lot more than 67HP. It's clean, runs like a bandit,& attracts alot of stares & comments/questions! It a fun little car for only $700.00! I also would like to get into Solo1 hillclimbs. I'm looking for a suspension I can tune & adjust. Maybe an adjustable strut or a coil over type of set up. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ray P.S. I've been on the Justy forum!
  12. Hi, I'm new to the board & this is my first post. I bought an '87 Justy GL about a month ago and I LOVE IT! I was just searching for a little daily driver and this is what I found. It needed a little TLC,came with a full roll cage & a set of 5-point harnesses. I found that the owner before the guy I bought it from was in the middle of prepping it for rallying. He dropped out of college & Dad sold his car,(punishment???). Well after some tuning, cleaning, & painting I ended up with a cool/quick little car for $700!!! (actually I call it my $695 car after cleaning at least $5 worth change out of it!) Well, enough of the blah, blah, blah! I competed in my frst SCCA auto cross thi past Sun. & I'm hooked! Finally my question, anyone out there have any info on upgrading/modifying the struts and or suspension? I'd like to be able to have something I can adjust. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Ray
