  1. I have a set of 215/75/15's on my wagon which you know Scott.

    Here's my review:

Rain: Have to go with Zap - even with the old EA they spun pretty easily even from a rolling start without dumping the clutch

Mud: Fair to ok - we have a differnent mud than they have on the east side, do fine in our mud, do crappy in the eastside sticky mud

Snow: Depends - West side snow they do ok (I had them on our run up past the brewery, I couldn't cut trail as well as you guys with the MT's), east side dry snow, excellent!

Dry pavement: Good: quiet, good wear.

Overall, They are like an Enduro, not nearly as good as a street bike on the street, or a dirt bike off road, but its the fact that you can attempt both. They are good for a daily driver that you will take on logging roads, camping, down to the river, places that you plan on going and making it back by yourself.

I have a set on my Tundra, live on the east side of WA, and agree with the above review, but I will say they wear on the outside edge easily, and every Tundra I have seen with them on has the same problem. Sidewalls are weak and the tires tend to roll to the outside edge a little when cornering. Now this might not be a concern at all for lighter vehicles then a 4 door, 4wd Tundra, but I thought I would pass it on.

  2. anyone in and around spokane/cda should get together sometime soon. there are more soob freaks out here in the pnw than we know... 509 671 3439 ROGER-

if you need help with anything let me know, and if anyone knows of a local ea82T block that is GOOD let me know, I need it ASAP.

I don't know where a good block is, but I say lets figure it out and meet up! My sube is no where near ready for wheeling at this point, but we can still get together to wrench, or bs or whatever.

  3. So I need to replace the windshield on my wagon. Never done it before, but it doesn't look too difficult to do. I have access to a cold knife, and the local pull and save has a few subes and only charges $22 for a windshield. Is it worth my time to do myself? Is it tougher then it looks? Glass places want over $200 to do it and not carrying full coverage on the car.

  4. haha i dont have a problem with people comin to watch. but my dad might. and thats a big concern since i still live at home but maybe i will get the car port for a day or two. i plan on pullin the motor like uh around may 10th prolly  doubt it though.

If it works out, great. If not, no worries. Being a dad myself, I totally understand.

  5. well my clutch is starting to go too. and since i will have some extra money layin around i was just gonna pull the motor replace the clutch and re seal. but i was just wonderin if i should do the HG's too. with help i have pulled a motor out of a xt in about 2 hours.

I need to do my clutch as well....yeah I know, shameless dropping of the inviting myself to check out your working on yours.

  6. Can't answer the question cause I am completely ignorant on the subject but, if you are doing it in the semi near future and wouldn't mind, I would love to see what you are doing so I could learn a thing or ten. I can bring beer, cigars and offer to be a gofer for tools and bring over my sube for your laughing enjoyment if nothing else.

  7. After reading this thread I was a bit nervous to do this to my "new" subie, but I did and I cannot believe how much smoke poured out of the exhaust! It looked like it was on fire, after about 10 minutes it finally stopped an seems to run better. I only ever put this stuff in my motorcycle fuel before this.

  8. Don't know if this is the right place or not for this.

Anyway, I was heading home from a short ride on my motorcycle(yeah I know it's too freaking cold in Spokane right now) and saw 4 wagons in the front yard/driveway of a house maybe a mile from my house. Guess I am just wondering if it's anyone here? I would love to meet up with any of the locals and suck your brains dry of subie knowledge over a beer or beverage of choice.
