  1. i feel like an idiot i didnt really think when i looked at it but i checked it out again and it is the 2 bbl i just didnt see the barrel under the choke. so could the electric choke be malfuntioning or the anti diesel
  2. the plug on the back of the carb I un plugged an it revs up great but wont idle till warm and then it idles high. i plugged it back in and idles great but chokes.
  3. The bolts are good I even checked for that leak but its fine. My friends 80 brat has that leak but his just idles high it doesnt bog. Before I looked at my carb it idled high but it was a unconnected hose and I plugged it back in and it idles fine now but still bogs.
  4. i have a single barrel carb on a ea81 and when i give it throttle it chokes for a second and i have to let off then give it another rev and it will run fine untill i let off and try to go again it chokes.
  5. My friend has an 80's brat with the 4 speed single range 4wd and recently the clutch pedal hit the floor and wont disengage the clutch but the cable isnt broke it still moves the lever. What could of broke that causes this.
  6. some one has done it on here cant find it tho. they said it helps with the bov to atmosphere cuz it wont bring air through the maf as its after the ic other wise it will run rich everytime you shift. you can run the maf before the ic and and just use a recirc bov back through the turbo intake .

  8. what does it take to turn a fwd hatchback into a 4wd? I have a 5sp dual range from an ea82 and the rear diff what else would I need? or should I find a junkyard hatch and take all the 4wd drivetrain.
  9. well im not really trying to run more boost it just seems that since i added an intercooler and a catless down pipe it feels lean on the top end and its stock boost pressure. If anyone can show me how with pictures to do the crush mod of my stock fpr then that would be awesome and probably where to get a in line fuel gauge.

  11. i have 280 zx n/a injectors but i just dont want to waste my time installing them and find out they dont flow more or better. so i dont need a rrfpr i just need a normal one and set it to 40psi and be done?
  12. Would the n/a 280zx injectors be better than the stock ea82t injectors. I read up on the 280zx turbo ones but no one really says anything about the n/a ones. I've heard that stock ea82t injectors flow 180 or 185 and I saw on some other sites that the 280zx flow 188 or 200 so I dont know which is right. Just wondering if theyre better then stock. I want to up the boost to about 9 or 10 psi im running a wrx intercooler too. Also whats a cheap good way to up fuel pressure like just any adjustable fpr or is there a specific one to use that i can get pretty easily?
