My father in law "offered" to have her crushed. :-( i said absolutely not. There's a perfectly perfect set of rear disks i have every intention of pulling off the old girl IF we Can't make her run again. So in short... Im willing to part out but not until i know she's dead dead. We'll see. Lol

No joke! We're working with the neighbors trying to get our garage cleared out. They've been renting it from our landlord for 5 yrs and agreed to clear it for us to use. Its been a work in progress but hopefully she'll be garaged before snow flies. Then the plan is to have her ready for WCSS17 since we can't make it this year.

Seats under the fabric are in stellar condition... Fabric in ok condition given the age. Cuts off the seats easily enough if we need to. Its not in our possession yet. Can't wait to get it home.

Well at 229k Rook finally has left the land of the living. We've purchased a 98 Forester in order to get home. Hopefully Rook can be revived the next time we are back in Washington.... :-(

I have such a good husband! Cant wait to clean this up and put new tires on it...

On December 18th, 2013 I married Markus56. It only seemed appropriate to announce it on here since John and I met at WCSS13 on August 18th, 2012. If it hadn't been for Subarus and USMB we never would have met.

Ended up returning the old rack because I didnt wanna wongleflute with drilling into my roof.. gonna find a gutter mount at some point.. just moved to Havre, Montana! Replaced my blown stock speakers with some stocks out of a legacy from the yard... and its looking like we're pretty much gonna have to do an engine overhaul sooner than later.. its leaking oil like a scyv and needs all the belts replaced. Other than that Rook is running great! Been getting roughly 30mpg still so no complaints for almost 210k!

What you mean youre not planning for WCSS to BE the honeymoon?

If you take hwy 2 from Sandpoint its much prettier and doesnt take MUCH longer... parts stores along the way.. plus theres a couple of us here in Havre on hwy 2. I camped next to you at wcss13 yes?

Just be cautious with the brake lines.. I routed one of mine incorrectly and the tire rubbed through the brake line in a matter of minutes. Hard to find a replacement, I ended up having to go to a hose shop and have one made. But I routed the other one differently so it didnt touch and it was just fine. Might be something in my thread on my car but I dont remember. :-P Best of luck to ya!

K so I got a standard roof rack off a car from the JY.. but mine has no threaded holes in the roof to screw it in to... so I need to figure out how to screw the roof rack into my roof without compromising the integrity of the roof or its watertightness. Any suggestions? I was thinking silicone or something... I just want to avoid leaks if I can...
