Scratch that! I missed taking Rook to WCSS but gained rear disk brakes for my car in the process!!! Already installed one side (so I could move my car off my poor neighbors lawn) oops. Its raining so I'm gonna work on the other side tomorrow... so excited for this upgrade though! Now when I pre reg for next years show I'll actually have something to write!

Awesome show! Things never go as planned, that is understood. If you need any help next year... sign me up! Maybe in next years announcement thread we could include a link to a volunteer thread? Just an idea I think of all the things that could have gone wrong.. we lucked out. At least the toilets werent backed up or something. Thanks to everyone who made this show happen. Btw... is there a link for how to get the dash plaques? I pre-reg'd. Tosh I think I ended up camping next to you! Cool dogs

Well folks... I have bad news.... Rook will not be at the show. :'( Had to leave her behind... had to do emergency rear drums and new drums were 2 days out and the old drum was simply too far gone... wonder if I could apply my pre-reg fee to camping since I wont have a car? maybe? Anyway I'll be riding with Twitch so I'll see you there!

Soooo almost 195k miles. Changed the oil and put a new plug bolt in since the old one was rounded off http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z131/rosie4491/Mobile%20Uploads/mms_picture-27.jpg .... Replaced the front passenger side axle and wheel bearings. Fixed a couple small trim pieces like the thing that holds the lap belt from falling down http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z131/rosie4491/Mobile%20Uploads/mms_picture-25.jpg so you can actually buckle up in my passneger seat again lol. Uhhh hooked up my emissions canister finally. Got an alignment and replaced my break pads and rotors. http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z131/rosie4491/Mobile%20Uploads/mms_picture-24.jpg All that in the last month. Next up: Rear shoes and cylinders. Passenger side is leaking like crazy so I only have 2 brakes atm. Kinda sucks... a lot. But I plan on attacking that in the morning before work.

Yeah if you look back around page 17 you'll find pix of what we did... we actually sawzalled the thing off and swapped out a new one... the metal was juts too chewed up to salvage. :/

Well I'm sure glad I kept that old hood... replaced the winshield washer line heads with the ones from the old hood and they work good as new! Also did my brake pads and rotors. Partsyard had a $6/tire special on and I found a whole set of studded snow tires with decent tread left on em. All in all I'd say its been a pretty productive week Alls I have left to replace is the passenger side axle and swap out for some better tires and I'll be all ready for WCSS14

Seems like this will be a few people's second WCSS as it will be mine as well... I have every intention of attending again... I hope. I'm all for caravaning. I'll be traveling from North Idaho for anyone who wants to join my trek... I already know a couple others who will likely join from over here. Can't wait!

My 1993 Loyale: Work In Progress
Jeez its been a while since I've been on this thing... I've looked countless times for a writeup with pictures on how to change my oil pump gasket. Any suggestions? My HTKYSA is wonderful except its for the wrong years... If only I had the next in the series... anyhow. My main question is do you have to remove the timing belts to do this? I know you have to take the covers off... and the clutch fan gets in the way I'm told... but I don't want to dig into this if I'm gonna screw up my timing... Thx

My 1993 Loyale: Work In Progress
So the last couple tanks I've gotten roughly 21mpg as opposed to the 29-31mpg I was getting only a couple weeks ago. No noticable differences in the run or drive... thoughts?

My 1993 Loyale: Work In Progress
The sparks are pretty new but I bought pre-gapped so I never looked at em... its an easy check so I'll do that first chance I get. Pump is good and filter is spankin new so I'm confidant its not either of those. I'll post what happens. And yeah... I go to beauty school so when I mention working on my car everyone's like What did you just say?! But you're a GIRL!!!

Oops I totally suck at keeping this updated huh? Well I replaced my driver side headlight with a shiny new purty one! (Thx Rugby!!!!!) And my neighbor came over and rescued my butt from the woes of my stupid exhaust! Its still loud and my engine has an annoying tack but it doesn't sound like the love-child of a lawn mower and a helicopter anymore.. I noticed I need to get a better seal on the passenger back door.. every time I drive down a dirt road I get a mound of dirt on the floor from it seeping in.. and also the resevoir for my rear wiper fluid is shot. Leaks through the body onto the ground.. :-\ Aaaaand my windshield still leaks... but we're getting there! As for the acceleration.. someone mentioned possibly the throttle body positioning sensor. Or the vacuum lines. But here's whats going on.. I'll go to floor it and it will lug horribly.. but if I take my foot off the gas and floor it again.. or just adjust it slightly sometimes that'll do the trick. Does that sound like TBPS? I havent hardly had time to look into it.. but I figured if anyone has an idea as to where I can start that'd be helpful. I'll get pix up when I can! ( which may be never.. XD )
