my last few cars I've changed the belt when I got them as I couldn't be sure they had ever been replaced..
the xt6 I'm driving now, I still haven't replaced it. or even taken the t-belt covers off....
setting myself up for failure, as we speak

that will buff out!
fixed!

do I see blood right next to the "intake port" picture?

my brother needs an EJ22 badly for his girlfriend's impreza... let me know if they have a few down there

I drove my legacy hard and far from whenever that long thread was until a couple of months ago, and if anything the transmission acted less "funny" with age.. the car is parked right now simply because I don't want to maintain it anymore??
I never had transmission temp light issues, either, with just a regular switch I had from something else wired in. hell, I never even soldered the wires because I forgot. they are twisted and heat shrinked.
(again, do this at your own risk.)

I like the stick-on weights.
my dad made a wheel balancer and it works good

Reminds me, I need to pull rear shoulder belts from a Loyale for the wagon. My passengars and I would feel safer with shoulder belts. The wagon has sort of become the unofficial caravan of the band after football games... The back seat gets used quite often.

yes
you would be way ahead if you use the doner cars windshield, steering set up, foot pedals, seat , doors with working seals and windows ,, if you have to fab this all up your self its alot of engineering , so go for it grad a junker and hack it up just keep the bare esentuals , reduce weight
I saw a geo metro just like this... front end was geo metro, back end was a motorcycle
it was crazy :drunk:

hooray for music :headbang:
I've been riding in the xt6 with no music since I put it on the road.. I've had a stereo but no speakers worth installing.
my girlfriend's wonderful mother donated some sony xplod speakers for the cause and I'm putting them in tonight

I've got basically the same clunk, and know for a fact that my transmission mount is bad... but I still can't guarantee that's what the issue is
-

I have what I believe to be a gen-1 brat dash COVER that I got from a board member... sounds like this is basically what you are talking about?
it's like this: http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Product/tf-Browse/s-10101/Pr-p_Product.CATENTRY_ID:2008202/p-2008202/N-111+10201+600013239/c-10101

I remember seeing a post one time where someone put an xt6 maplight in their ea82... maybe it was in USRM? don't remember

try the newer gen forum... I'm sure there are tons of posts about this there

Only problem I have found with it all now that it is working is there isn't much meat on the new shoes and it leaves the adjusters close to full adjust which leaves not much more adjustment... How many times can you put the word adjust in a sentence?
I would have to say that I would be able to adjust that sentence in order to squeeze the word adjust in a few more times with only a few minor adjustments.
