  1. my 90 loyale wagon w/ 4wd is hard to top. i guess a turbo would be nice but i've got more room that i can use, it will take me anywhere, it has the classic squared off body and it gets close to 30 mpg. it is the best car i have ever owned.
  2. Xt Fan i grew up in newport news, va. right across the harbor from norfolk. i must admit i miss living near the beach.
  3. i have never claimed to be mechanically literate so i am not ashamed to ask this question of the group...can you explain to me the different types of soobs you refer to on this board, ea81, ea82, etc. i have no idea what is being spoken of when these terms are used. how do you know what is what? i have a 90 loyale what would it be? thanks for the help. try not to laugh too loud at my ignorance.
  4. everyone always ask why i drive a soob (90 loyale 4wd 5 sp.) when i could get something "nicer". that is until they drive it and realize how much room it has on the inside, what a great driving car it is, what great gas mileage it gets and just how cool it looks. i almost sold the soob and bought a jeep this year but i am so glad i changed my mind and found this web site. you can customize your soob just as much as a jeep and spend a lot less money.
  5. its been great to here the different explanations of subaru ownership east v. west. i see plenty of new soobs (outback, forester, wrx) but very few older ones. i am looking forward to attending some soob rallys after my summer camp season is over. i might even venture west.
  6. i have a 90 loyale station wagon 4wd. i have located a place in charlotte that sells pug wheels and i was wondering on the right size. if i don't lift the soob will 14's fit okay or could i put 15's on? the main reason is for appearance but i am considering a lift to do some off-roading. thanks for the help.
  7. i have to be honest that was not the answer i was looking for, but i'm not surprised by the response. i guess i'll have to make a trip west to be sure.
  8. thank you for your devotion to our freedoms and liberty. good luck.
  9. i was just wondering why there seems to be a much larger subaru population on the west coast than on the east coast. when searching for soob's for sale online most are on the west coast and it seems many (not all) of the members found here are in the western half of the u.s. any thoughts? i am a proud soob owner here on the east coast and thought i must be misplaced.
