Ive had mine for about 2 months and when I got it it had no interior, the seats wernt in the back but Ive been working on it and its my daily driver and the only thing wrong is that it runs hot sometimes but thats it. Im redoing the interior(will post pics when I feel that its worth showing off) Im also getting ready for the ej22 swap and 5-speed trans when I can find them. SJ

I have a 1982 brat 4wd and I want to put a 2.2l ej22 in it and was wondering what 5-speed transmission I need to use with the ej22? If I can I would like to keep the 4wd but if it's too much trouble then I can settle for no 4wd. SJ

I have a 82 subaru brat 4wd, will I have to make any modifications to use the 4wd? and also when I install the ej22 wil the car always be in fwd or will it turn it into awd? and would I be able to do the swap in a weekend? SJ

I want to put a ej22 engine in my brat, but i dont want to keep my trans i want to put the trans thats on the ej22 with the engine(preferably a 5-speed) will the engine and trans fit right in? what kind of mods do I have to make and what do I have to do about all the wires?,like the speedometer and tac ect.... any info will help. My brat does the same thing when turned on but only to about 3,000 rmps but that means there is to must gas in the lines and you can stop it by just hitting the gas again. SJ

Mine went out friday night while I was working on my 82 brat in the garage and went to back it out and the fuel pump went out and had to push it out and put in another one saturday, thank God for my parts car!
