Im doing a 4 inch lift and im having a problem with what bolt pattern I want.. I have a set of 4 16.5 inch wagon wheels 5 lug, and was wondering if I should do the 5 lug swap( there are two xt6's at the local pull a part)(and what is the part list for this conversion?) or should I redrill some hubs( there is a ea81 at the local pull a part also, and I can get the hubs off that and make them 6 lugs) my main problem is that my brat is my daily driver and I kind of need to do this in 2-3 days, the lift and the 5 lug swap or 6 lug conversion? thank you for your time SJ
  4. Finished the xt6 seat swap today, dont know if I really like them though, they ride really low!! Ill use them for a couple of days and if I dont like them then Ill just switch my seats back. SJ
  5. I don't understand! A lot of people on here have used these wheels with the offset and they look great.
  6. well, ive seen people use them, just tell me the exact ones to get so I can quit asking. SJ
  7. thank you< but Im looking for these. http://media.photobucket.com/image/6%20lug%20wagon%20wheels/tpassetti/photo-38.jpg they dont have to be chrome, I want either 15x8 or 15x10's
  8. went to pull-a-part couldnt find the 15x8 6 lug wagon wheels I want! looked everywhere and the ones they did have were welded to another wheel holding the car up! searched ebay and craigslist still cant find any, where else can I get them? SJ
  9. Were the nasioc guys respectful? never had a good relationship with those guys. SJ
  10. Did the xt6 seat swap today on my brat, only got the passenger side done. Also finished repainting the door panels black:banana:
  11. will this cluster fit a 82 subaru brat GL ? http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/album.php?albumid=43&pictureid=2428 thank you SJ
  12. Put some peel-in-seal on the back wall of the brat and now the back window doesnt vibrate and make noise:banana: SJ
  13. I am looking for 6 lugs but they need to be offset because I'm putting bigger tires and a 4inch lift on my brat. SJ

  15. http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/pts/2064259875.html they say there 4x100, i think thats the 4 lug pattern on subaru's but im not completly sure. SJ
  16. thank you man! I was using the wrong words to search. SJ
  17. I need to replace my cv joint(well cv inner boot buy might as well replace the whole axcel) and I do not!! want to pay $115 for them to replace the boot at the local cv joint shop. The joints are around $60 at autozone and I want to do it myself. I also have extra cv joints off my parts car, should I go ahead a use one of those or get a new one? ok now ill get to the point, Is there a write up or intructions on how to do this I have a general Idea, I can get the wheel hub and all that off and I know alittle about the pin thing on the inner part of the cv joint...but I would rather be better informed on this before I take on this task. Also I have searched. SJ
  18. I like your response but im alittle confused on the 5hp racing stripe??? what do you mean? SJ
  19. I think I did take you a different way but Im glad that you do agree. ive just had bad past experiences with forums. SJ
  20. Im not trying to start an arguement but Im not making my brat look like a ricer! i was just interested in the thought of lowering a brat and If it was cheaper than lifting it, I probably wont do any of that to it and leave it at normal ride height, but the ride height does bother me because it looks like its nose diving into the ground!!! I am putting a hoodscoop on the brat but I have another ea81 hood that i am going to mount and mold the hood scoop too so there is no worries about ruining original stuff. and i am restoring my brat, the inside is almost done, all new carpet,a whole kicker sound system including 12inch sub and amp with two 6.5' kicker door speakers, and soon to come two 6x9 kickers behind the seats with a custom box. also im redoing the whole inside black with blue carpet and xt6 seats:) as for an exhaust I have chosen a "FART CAN" as you say, but its my Brat and I will do whatever I want to my Brat,if i want it to be loud then its going too, if I want it lowered it will be lowered, Brats were manufactured to the public and the public can do anything they want to there brat, no one said that you cant lower a brat. Once again not argueing just stating a point and giving my opinon. SJ
