  1. I have nightmare stories about taking that roll pin out but... make sure you are driving it out from the right side. (Mark the dimple and shaft side because it may get turned around later). Take my advise.. don't smack on the punch too hard. Just take your time and tap it a bit at a time til it comes all the way out. It's also a very good idea to replace that roll pin EVERY time you change half shafts. boing
  2. Hi WRX.... Thanks for the reply. I could come to seattle maybe.. I live 80 miles north of Spokane. The cross bar that I'm looking for is the one that the hood latch is connected to (at the top just under the hood). I need to look to see which brackets can be unbolted for the light support. There's also an apron piece that I think I need... I'll take a look. Thanks, boing
  3. Hi, I'm looking for a hood, crossbar support, drivers light assembly and brackets and a few other items related .. for a 1990 legacy wagon. I'm not in any hurry but looking. Anybody?????? Thanks, boing
  4. PROBLEM SOLVED It turned out to be flooded and after 24 hours of sitting it started and runs fine. When the coil wire was off and I tried to start it, I flooded the heck out of it. Thanks to everybody for looking and responding!!!!!! boing
  5. Hi Turbone!! I took the wire off the distributor to test for spark and it looked really good so I put it back on and tested at the plug wire and it looks good there too. Very true... something else might of come loose so I'll look. If anybody has any ideas I'll sure check it out. Still not running, boing
  6. Hello, this is my first post here. I've read quite a few posts and looks like an awesome group. I drove this car yesterday and it was fine. It's a 1988 GL 3 Door 1800cc shiftable 4wd with ohc and throttlebody. today it turned over like normal but didn't start. I opened the hood and saw the coil wire off... I'm not sure how that happened. I put the coil wire back on the distributor and same thing.. it turned over great just won't start. I removed the dist.cap and the rotor turns. I scraped a bit of burn off the rotor but the cap looks fine and the rotor looked pretty good. I checked all the fuses and they're fine. I removed the throttlebody cover and there's fuel. Any ideas?????? It has new timing belts, seals, oil pump and fan belts. I could use a hint here. By the way.... Hello to all of you!!!!!!!! boing
