  1. gonna work on rear this morning..only 4 pieces so should'nt take too long alignment is really off. camber is out
  2. Well..finally finished up in the front..was working on it all day yesterday..I honestly have to say it wasnt that easy to do for the first time. Ran into some road blocks but were able to clear. Wow! Didnt know entire engine n tranny were lowered from the engine bay. But it does make sense now. Most cables and wires are now running tight and gotta replace minimum, the fan shroud, fan, coil wires, both upper/lower radiator hose, can't use rear tranny mount, re-locate brake lines on drivers side.
  3. if i drop the x-member, the engine n tranny will drop too...am i missing a block between the engine and x-member? is there any pics or links someone can send me please, thanks
  4. ok...im starting install now..but a little confused..i know where most parts go except the 2 triangle pieces w holes..can anyone help please..thanks in advance
  5. Thanks buddy, for the tip
  6. Thanks Noah for the heads-up, will do sir
  7. Hey all..Just wanna first say that I'm still learning bout Subies and really excited bout lifting the wagon. I just received kit from Albie, formerly w/ Allied Armament. its goin on EA82 wagon w/ power steering. This will be my first lift job so I'm hoping to get this right w/ little help from others. Its a 4" kit for front w/ 3" for the rear. I did speak w/ him regarding assistance on lift. He did give me pointers and tips as far as how to install. He did say the front is the more difficult part and to take your time on it. I also plan on calling him when i do the install for some more help. Really great guy from the get-go. Tips he gave me that i wrote down were on: -tranny brackets -tie rods-2 90mm, 1 100mm -cradle block -cross member -steering shaft, bolt-flat spot, clean splines, tap all way up then back down -engine cradle bolt loosen, set screw, thru frame rails, 2 bolts out like horseshoe, philips head -radiator hoses, bottom can cut down -replacing fan w/ electric fan bcuz original will stick out -bolt blocks on strut first -unbolt rod from lca in front, finger tighten ea one in -rear mustache bar, undo bolt 1 1/2" -swing arm, shock outside of lfit plate Any other tips or assist i would really appreciate since i know all the experts and gurus are on this site. 8. 987687- did u just reweld existing brackets onto car or did u also use existing bolts to secure?
  9. Thanks guys for all the info..Maan..im gonna try n play w the rails a little more. I really want to swap em..these stock seats really suk.
  10. thanks caboo for the info..i didnt know there was a difference, for now, it will be a back-up spare. as far as seats go, u can't use the ej rails to fit in wagon, and u would have to do lots of modification to existing rails to make it fit. plus the height level is waay too high, im 6' and my head almost touches roof. might just sell or trade the seats if anyone is interested
  11. just picked up some seats from a 97 EJ hatch at Ecology this morning. i hope they fit in the wagon. I take some pics after I clean and install em. also scored a Jackman and headlamp. paid more for the headlamp then i did for the seats..go figure..if anyone has 3 Jackmans they wanna get rid of, please lemme know..i think after i lift it, i will just stick to 14"s for now..was gonna go allied armaments, but on a budget..
  12. thanks for the info..i keep that in mind when im ready for tires. i gonna need all the power i can get w/ stock motor. are u running EA or EJ motor in wagon?
  13. would u take $350 shipped to CA? i can paypal u, thanks

  14. painted hubcaps, blacked out all chrome lining except door handles, detailed exterior, replaced cap n rotor, wires, plugs, o2 sensor, and drove it up 200+ miles to Mtn High yesterday

  21. Wow!! i didnt know all body parts were interchangeable..thanks Miles for all the info on the ride..i was at ecology yesterday and saw couple older models but was hesitant to pick up parts bcuz i didnt know if they would work..well, now i know. mine is a 5sp w/ the 4wd button on the stick
  22. Hi all, just bought a used '92 Loyale w 207k miles and i cant wait to turn it into a winter mtn/ desert vehicle. Just wanna say HI and im glad i found this forum for very useful info. The wagon is clean inside/ out for 19yrs old. Only thing not workin was the clock n rear driver side window. Gonnna remove engine n replace all seLs n gaskets. Lookin forward on learning more bout the EA82 and its capabilities. IMG_7055.JPG
  23. I was reading that some swap out the 4wd button tranny for the dual range mode..i saw a wagon w/ dual range at junkyard yesterday..what would i need to remove in order to do a complete conversion? just the linkage and shifter?or the entire tranny assembly and shaft? im still kinda "green", but learning a lot from this forum..i will try n search too, thanks
