  1. Need any part numbers I have the Book for an 1986 XT and XT turbo models complete subaru part numbers! just ask
  2. What exhaust parts will inter change with the XT turbos, the newest one I can get? I don't like galvanized, and not all of it is offered by Magnaflow.
  3. The ignition improved fuel economy and torque substantially. It formed an exhaust leek that needs repair. I'm going with a hole magnaflow turbo back exhaust. Any one use Magnaflow parts on there XT? Likes diss-likes?
  4. Upgrading the ignition system with new performance MSD wires, and a MSD blaster coil. Got a surprise with a nice clicking noise that was the arking on cylinder #2, The new wires were needed why not go big... I got a K&N air filter and it's amazing the difference in responsive nice, MPG, and hp. Then the wire burnt through.
  5. Sounds like what I planed on doing before I saw an 88 with MAF. It's nice to know the AFM is not easily switched to the MAF. I will be changing all the hoses to neoprene before I modify the boost control. I was looking a inter coolers from a VW. And a water methanol kit from snow performance.
  6. Looking to convert my 1986 turbo XT from an airflow meter, "the flapper" to a Mass air flow censer. Whats the best way to make it work, with out going to a stand alone system?
  7. Hello I'm back on the XT project again. The parking brake wasn't the issue the first one was good the "rebuilt ones were defective" but the problem was the Hill-hold any Idea where I can get one? I bypassed it for now.
  8. Hello I'm back on the Road rally project again, unimployment put it in park for a while. I fixed the parking brake issue and I need a part I can't find a name for. Do any of you know the part number for the Hill-hold?
  9. Drivers side front brake is stuck solid, with a new calper and hardware. The parking brake adjustment was causing this with the old one, now I'm checking the wheel bearings. After it cools.

  11. Greg Rossi off of my Facebook page I hate plastic. My headlight switch broke in my Subaru while they inspected it. December 14 at 5:06pm Greg Rossi Fixed it, I don't know how it broke but it works now. December 14 at 10:42pm · Like Greg Rossi I'm fixing it again I got it back with new inspection, but a broken switch. December 17 at 10:20pm · Like Greg Rossi They broke it good this time. I have to order a new one at $200 and I can't get it till February. Having to explain how to use a switch to a mechanic is sad...
  12. Thank you I know now how i can get wipers.
  13. It's nice to know that it can be done with epoxy and patients. https://sites.google.com/site/1980srestore/Welcome/updates-news/electricalfun/IMAG_0076.jpg https://sites.google.com/site/1980srestore/Welcome/updates-news/electricalfun/IMAG_0077.jpg
