I think it is the U-joints as well. I have had some click even though they seemed tight while the shaft was still installed on the vehicle. But once I pulled the shaft you could feel the grit in the caps.

Finally got around to changing the front struts. Amazing how much more solid it drives/rides now.

I SO want either that dodge or chevy look-a-like! edit: apparently the pics don't want to quote... hmm..

OOoooo... now I know what to spend my Christmas money on.

Howdy all. I would just like to say hi from Michigan. I just picked up an 86 GL wagon on Sunday and have already fallen in love with it. After looking at this site for about 20 minutes with my wife peering over my shoulder, she has already stated: "You can't look at this site anymore. It has already given you too many ideas. I can see the gears turning in your head." Anyways, I can't wait to start driving this GL the way it should be.
