  1. AWESOME! I was wondering how these older wagons would do at the Dunes. Looks like they have enough oompf to have fun up there.
  2. Looks like you did some trimming to the wheel wells though?
  3. Agreed! Don't be surprised if mine ends up very similar looking to this.
  4. Sounds more like a carb issue. I am guessing maybe something with the choke since heatsoak is still happening around 15 minutes and the engine doesn't completely cool like sitting for hours.
  5. What I have gathered from my short time with this group, locating a part shouldn't be a problem.
  6. ^ What he said. I just went through this a few months ago. Although, my old ones were torched out carefully.
  7. This is what seem to be true with mine. 86 D/R 5spd and I can get 28 in town and 23 on the highway.
  8. http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Knowledge/SubaruPaintCodes Halfway down: 222 = dark grey metallic

    Lovin' it so far.
  10. Not a problem. Better to ask than be sorry later. We all learn from others.
  11. I didn't see an answer to this yet, but do NOT use a tire pressure gauge. you will need a true fuel pressure gauge which any big box auto store should have in their 'loan-a-tool'.
  12. Did a good cleaning on the interior today... I honestly didn't expect it to turn out this nice.
  13. Looks nice. I would love to have one for mine.
  14. Thank you, it is still in reather decent shape. The interior is in excellent condition! but there is some rot underneath that I hope to fix come spring as well. Not as bad as some pics of the frame rails on here. And I would be interested in those center caps.
  15. Nice pictures and it looks fairly solid still! Love the Sasquatch Repellant sticker! I want one.
  16. 15HP I believe.. and I should've known yellow adds torque..... DANG! Well I meant driveline/suspension wise. And that is how the trim rings were when I got it, although I don't think they look that bad. But I would like to get the wheels back to white come summer.
  17. I clicked the link and it says your album is empty. but I agree that it looks clean for a MI car.
  18. Here is mine: a bone stock 86 GL.
  19. I thought it was real at quick glance and was wondering why the contact patch on the rear tire was jacked up. Nice R/C.
  20. This may be a shot in the dark, but my charging gauge didn't work and to make a long story short, it ended up being one of the screws mounting the printed circuit board on the back of the cluster was loose.
  21. According to indysworld.com, sedan and station wagon have the same wheelbase. 2wd and 4wd had different wheelbases though. (at least on 85-87 models - didn't check older yet) Not trying to nitpick anyone, just trying to gain knowledge myself.
  22. Relating this to the rocker panel thread that is on here right now: If the wheelbases are 2-3 inches different, wouldn't the rocker panels also have to be different? But yet it shows that the sedan and wagon share the same rockers.
