  1. Please don't ever use belt dressing. It's nasty, and a bandaid. I didn't read all of thin this. But you could just take your belts off and run without them to see if it's your clutch or your belts
  2. I think I picked up what your laying down. But pictures would set it in concrete. I've got an idea, but any other ideas are great
  3. Specifically geared towards a 99 forester, but might be sameish over the years. My major dilemma looks to be the shift cable, it looks tight at the stock location, and impossible if I were to drop the drivetrain 6 inches. So what say you, does another Subaru have a longer cable, will it stretch (lol) or am I going to have to swap in my mega shifter?
  4. Looks like you might have been coming in to hot.. Or more traction than you anticipated lol
  5. In for the real wheeling pics
  6. Check the drivers fender well area for wiring... The newer Subaru when slammed are known to rub the harness raw
  7. 03s are slightly lower.... Like around .1-.2 inch difference
  8. Been around here since about 2004, very infrequent poster.. (the old USMB). Had to re register with this new fangled board.. but was absent for some time because Ive been dabbling in the newer subari.... But just picked up a 86 GL wagon... ea82 with a blown up cam gear for 300 bucks. Already found member on here (silverhelme) who is sending me a gear. The Subaru community is great. I have a collection of them now. Just for myself 99 forester (wanna be boy racer Rally car), 05 Fxt (fine tuned speed freak), and now my own 86 GL (grandpa fisherman) LOL... Anyway, im out here on the Oregon Coast just North of Tillamook...
