  1. Great job!! Looks very nice. Take good care of it from here on. Brats are getting hard to come by these days. Here are some pictures of my Subaru I recently finished. http://s1275.beta.photobucket.com/user/cespo77/library/
  2. I do not doubt him. I know first had how the winters are around the east coast. I had a nice old Subaru Hatchback EA71 in New York from when I was 18 to 28 (similar to the one I have now). It started out very nice and almost in mint condition. Over the years, from the rain, the salt used on the roads, the chassis and rocker panel just rotted. In the end, I was very upset because the car, served me so well.... got me through university and ran superb! At that moment I had lack of funds to repair it. In these areas, old Subarus do not exist.
  3. Great Job! How is it running? I have a dual carb EA-71 that I just finished. http://s1275.beta.photobucket.com/
  4. Obviously you would know better than I would regarding your decision. Do you think you can find another inexpensive Brat in or around your area? It would be ashame to let this one go especially for $200! But if it's going to be a headache .... I totally understand you.
  5. Hi! I found an old 1980 1.6 SRX. I do not have the before pictures because the car was awful. It was an ugly puke-green color.... the interior was in horrible shape, but on the positive side.... the body was solid without any rust. So far, I have repainted the car, customized the interior to a more classic look, rebuilt the motor, changed the clutch, breaks and tuned the dual carbs. As of now the car is running better than new! http://s1275.beta.photobucket.com/user/cespo77/library/
  6. This is my new 1980 Subaru 1600 SRX! http://s1275.beta.photobucket.com/user/cespo77/library/
