Hey Ive got a faulty fuel injector. The code does not tell me which one it is, is there a trick to finding out which one or do should I just go in and inspect each one. If so what should I be looking for in faulty fuel injector when I take it out? Also does anybody know if other fuel injectors would work like a wrx one?

that's what I have heard about these turbo engines, I think I might just hold onto it until the engine pukes, then maybe swap in a new one. Thanks for the help.

Hey I'm looking to get a newer subaru. I want to sell my Gl 10 (sadly but I need a more safe car), recent work done includes, new head gasket, timing belt, new alternator, has tinted windows, the engine only has 97,000 miles on it and everything is solid on it. Interior is decent, the trim on the door is peeling. Exterior is good, straight body no major dents. Ive also painted the quarter panels with truck bed liner. I will post pics in a bit. Just wondering what I could get for this, and what other subarus are good to buy, i heard that the 90's outback sports are good. Any thoughts??

So I am about to go drive my car off of a cliff and shoot it because im so frustrated.... I have spent about 4 hours trying to snake the cable through the port to the instrument cluster and I have had no success in doing so. I have a 1988 GL 10, I have no idea what to try at all, snaking it through has not worked and using a tracer has not worked either, it is not a straight line the access port to the cluster it rises up and goes to the right. HEEELLLPPPP, before I lose my mind!!!!

well i did it with the spray on stuff from oreilly, it was gloppy so i rolled it out and it actually looks really good, im gonna put another coat on and see if I can get some more texture, it looks like skateboard drip tape right now.

Hey will the boss 2 inch lift work for an 88 gl 10, it seems like it would but I just wanna know, if they do then I want one

K thanks for the help! Looks like I know what I'm going to be doing this weekend! Part of the reason is to see if it can solve my illusive overheating problem, i have replaced the thermostat, every single coolant line, temp sensor, flushed the coolant, had it pressure tested, and had the radiator checked for clogs and yet it still overheats... this probably will not do anything but it will be fun to install!!

Hey how easy was that lift to install? ive got an 88 gl 10 that I have wanted to lift for a while, on the SJR lifts website it says that I need to extend my steering column? did you have to do anything like that?

Does any one know about putting an intercooler and or cold air intake on a 88 gl 10, if i put these on would I have to tune anything? Ive got a free intercooler from a 2004 wrx that I could put on it. Whats everyones thoughts?

Hey so Im replacing my pads and Im having some major problems with depressing the brake cylinder so I can put the new pads in. I cannot use a c clamp because on the other side of the caliper where you would usually place it, it is a rubber boot so I cannot put it there or else I will tear the boot. Is there a special tool for this? I tried spinning the cylinder with a pair of channel locks but it has not depressed at all. Please help! im DOA.:-\

no its not a burning oil smell, i cant explain it at all, its weird i have smelt this before on a car, it does not smell like a head gasket either, is there such thing as an exhaust gasket?

Hi, my when my turbo kicks on my 1988 gl 10 it emitts a weird smell. I cant smell it in the car, but when i step out after I turn it off i can smell it. It smells like a caterpillar, i cant link it with anything else than a caterpillar. What the hell is this? is my turbo actually a giant caterpillar in disguise or is it something else?!?

Hey I'm wondering I there's any way to convert my headlights to HID lights or if anyone knows if there are other lights that would fit, recently I saw a loyale with LEDs and wondering if I could do it on mine. Thanks!!!
