    I have always loved subi, luckily got my hands on a 74' DL for my first subi. eventually want a wrx in the near future. i am a machinist, and love to make custom pieces for my car.

  1. Bryan, I have acquired the 74 Subaru from San Diego. I just rebuilt the carb on it, sad to see that it had such nice white stripes, but someone removed them. I was also wondering where that extra engine in the trunk came from when i first got it, but now it makes sense. any other info you can give on it for me? other then contacting Troy from San Diego about any engine questions. at first i didnt think it was the same car, but the AAA stickers match up, and so does all the other little tid bits of information. Super hard to find parts, Any spares laying around in storage? :)

  2. rebuilt my hitachi 2brl carb, DCJ 306, on my 74' DL. still running a little sluggish, gonna replace the spark plugs and see if that does anything with the way it sluggishly gives power at the beginning of any throttle demand. or should i just take it to a carb. guy and have them tune it right? lol anybody know where i can get a driver side inside door handle for my subi?
