  1. I put new front struts on my '84 Wagon and I noticed that they have these two threded ends with nuts on each side that looks to be a way of raising the front end. Does anyone know if it is and if not what there used for?? Thanks!
  2. Actually the new body style '05 that we are just know seeing has been running in Japan for a year or two already... in fact it was voted car of the year or something like that last year.

  4. What hop-up parts are you refering to? That would be of great interest to me, alot less work than an engine swap.
  5. I've been reading and researching all the diffrent engines that came in subs and while knowing my EA81 is very reliable what is the engine of choice for more offroad power? I've read that the EJ22 is very durable so I just wanted everyones input on the subject.. thanks!!

  9. What is the normal reading on everyones temp gauge(I know there aren't #'s) 1/4... 1/2?? This is my 2nd "84 GL Wagon.. the 1st car run at 1/4 this one runs at 1/2 and had give heating trouble... replaced radiator and all is well but temp gauge is still at 1/2.. is this normal or are factory gauges just junk??? 11. Thanks to all of you who replied.. yours answers have been helpful. Thanks MorganM for the tip on the struts ... luckily I had just replaced them. I was reading somewhere here that the weber carb really helps out with the extra power desired for pulling the bigger tires, is that something alot of you have done here?? I was looking at doing it anyway just because I like weber carbs.
  12. The lift will be coming in the near future... this all started with me trying to find some old 13" Bias Ply mud grips like I had before... no where to be found.. So the pug wheels was the next best choice since tires where not as limited. So your saying 27's are the way to go for now?? What actual size do u recomend??? Thanks!!
  13. I know all the old timers to this sight are sick of this question but I could use an answer just the same... a search provided little to no useful info.
  14. I have an "84 GL Wagon 4x4 that I just got the 14 Pug Wheels for and my question is what the tallest size tire i can use without the lift... I don't mind cutting and trimming fenders and what not... thanks!!
  15. My "98 Forester is rattling also... started slow and suddle but gets worse the longer you leave it.... My rattle is a heat shield on the exhaust.. don't know if yours is but you might check.
  16. I found a set of 14" steel Pug wheels off of a '85 model for $25 a wheel is that resonable or a bit steep for old steel wheels?? Thanks.
