Just reading some info on oil filters and thought I would shoot you a question. I have a 2005 Legacy GT that does not like to fill with fuel. I have checked everything I can find regarding vents and such. I can fuel the car but very slowly. It appears the tank vent valve has failed. Some say stuck shut. I pressurized the tank through the fill neck and nothing came through to the evap can. Air vented back out the filler neck. I have also heard there is a safety shut off in the tank in case of overfilling and it keeps fuel from going into the evap can. Can you give me your thoughts on this problem? Also, I have heard getting to the tank, or dropping it, is a real chore. Any info or insight would be appreciated. You can email me at glen9010@gmail.com
